For Some Reason…

I find militant atheism even more disturbing than militant religion. Perhaps it’s because dogmatic atheism has, historically, been an even more deadly philosophy than any theological dogma. Perhaps it’s just because atheism is supposed to be a rational philosophy. When it becomes strident it becomes self-contradictory.

Of the two blogs you linked, note which one has comments posted on every entry.

So…you’re suggesting I’d get a better response if I published a pattern for fuzzy, pink bunny slippers?

    Strident, militant anything is discomforting.

By the way, I’m pleased to see that the administrator of this site has awarded you a much-deserved star. I mean, “I’M PLEASED TO SEE THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THIS SITE HAS AWARDED YOU A MUCH-DESERVED STAR.”

    Hi, archie.

That’s funny, because my own browser blocks it, so I can’t see it. I put the star on there as a joke, intending to remove it, but maybe I’ll just leave it there.
