Where Did The Amazon Ads Go?

I used to carry Amazon ads on this site, but now I don’t. Why not?

One of my readers informed me that he had ordered two books through the link on my site. Naturally, I was very pleased at the news. However, when I later checked my daily report, it showed only one book ordered.

So, I ran a test. I ordered two books for myself through Amazon. Only one book showed up on my daily report.

Internet marketing relationships depend on a lot of trust between parties if they’re going to work. I no longer trust Amazon, so I won’t carry their ads. It’s as simple as that. I now carry Biblio.com ads, and the transactions are verified by an independent third party. Biblio.com is still a book store, unlike Amazon, and I believe that they will give their customers good service.

As for Amazon, I will never do business with them again, neither as a customer nor as someone who carries their advertising.
