Iran is a Strange Place

Schizophrenic in its politics and culture. Going to war with Iran would be a completely unnecessary tragedy. This is not the Taliban, and this is not Ba’ath.
There is a significant chance that Iran will evolve into a responsible member of the international community and a relatively free society if left to its own devices. This is a situation that calls for a hands-off approach. Putting pressure on the ayatollahs is a strategic mistake.
