We all agree that everybody should get equal treatment under the law, right?  That nobody should get special treatment because of who they are or who they know, right?

After all, driving with a suspended license means jail time for everybody, doesn’t it?  That only seems fair.

It’s not like the prosecutor would let even his own wife get away with it, would he?  And if she got caught, he would certainly be duty and honour bound to make sure that she was treated exactly like everyone else, naturally.  It’s not like one person would get 45 days in prison and another would get a $431 fine or anything like that?

Well, I’m glad that’s alright, then.
