Neglect and the Next Big Thing

I know that I have been shamefully neglecting this site.  That’s because I’m a bad, bad man.

Anyway, I recently came across Surface, which Microsoft is touting as the Next Big Thing. 

I’m not convinced.  I see applications in banking, sure, and maybe a few other areas where they already use touch screens (would you like fries with that?), but I don’t see this as a mass consumer product.

If I’ve just paid ten grand for a funky high tech coffee table, then you’re using a fucking coaster or I’m going to kick your ass.
