Main Stream Media

The problem with the media is not just that they suck, not just that they pander to the lowest common denominator, and not just they prize a pretty face above all other attributes.
The real problem is that they are proudly and aggressively stupid.  Witness this exchange with Dennis Kucinich:

My New Goal in Life

Well, my new goal in life is, apparently, to make this site as ugly as possible.I think I’m doing pretty well so far.
The part I especially like is how people really like to be given credit for their design work (see bottom of page).

The furnace died some time last night. $250 to have someone come out and replace a sensor(?!?).
Pretty much spent the rest of it fighting with the wife, who seems to think this whole internet thing is way overrated.
Yuck. Blah. Ptui.
