An Addition to the Blogroll
I know I’ve been pretty lax in my blogging for the last few months, but I just have to point out this addition to my blogroll:
God: FAQ
I’m sure this means that I’m destined for eternal hellfire, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take in a good cause.
Damn! Creationists are Everywhere
And I was going to vote for this guy, too. Yet another politician gets caught trying to make everybody happy and winds up upsetting everybody.
Why, John Tory, why?
Actually, I know why. If you’re a complete ignoramus on the subject, then “teach the controversy” sounds quite sensible. Both sides of the story and all that.
Except, in […]
A Burning Ring of Fire?
Hell. Go to Hell. Hell on Earth. A hellish experience.
Is there a Hell?
For an atheist like me, the answer is a straightforward no.
But, I have to ask, can any decent person believe in Hell?

This one is in Greek, more carefilly inscribed, and reads left to right, so it’s a lot easier to make out to our Western […]
For Some Reason…
I find militant atheism even more disturbing than militant religion. Perhaps it’s because dogmatic atheism has, historically, been an even more deadly philosophy than any theological dogma. Perhaps it’s just because atheism is supposed to be a rational philosophy. When it becomes strident it becomes self-contradictory.
The Lost Tomb of Jesus, Part 4
Just to give you some idea of what we’re dealing with, here is a picture of the actual “Jesus” inscription:
